Stacey Goldring
Writer and Producer
Stacey is an author, film producer and founder of Searching For Identity, a non-profit with projects that include documentaries, family films, art and literature discussions and publishing projects. She created and facilitates SFI’s 2nd and 3rd Gen Workshops and has produced readers theatre productions, art exhibitions and Holocaust Remembrance/Education panel discussions. Her monthly book reviews can be heard on NPR WJCT 89.9. In collaboration with academics , Stacey co-created the University of Florida STEM Honors course Beyond the Memory of the Holocaust. Her book On Wooden Wheels, recounts the life of Holocaust survivor Carla Nathans Schipper. Prior to this work, Stacey was a freelance journalist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and reporter for The Boca Raton News.
Isaac Brown
Director, Cinematographer

Isaac is an award-winning director with a master’s degree in documentary film production from University of Florida’s Documentary Institute. His thesis film Gimme Green won over a dozen awards, screened on the Sundance Channel, and it played at film festivals around the world. Isaac is a Florida Individual Artist Fellow; he directed the documentaries Terra Blight and SiDiKi. He’s currently a Professor of Communication and Media & Digital Media at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Isaac is a licensed captain and a FAA certified remote pilot. Ana Paula Habib

Brazilian award-winning filmmaker Ana Paula Habib holds a Master’s degree from the University of Florida’s Documentary Institute and has a background in Anthropology. Ana produced Terra Blight and directed SiDiKi. She is a Florida Individual Artist Fellow and the recipient of the Art Ventures Grant from The Community Foundation of Northeast Florida. Lisa Martinez Petyak
Associate Producer
and Outreach Coordinator
After graduating with a B.A in 2017 and completing a successful film internship with Searching For Identity, Lisa Martinez Petyak officially joined the SFI team. Today, she is the SFI Marketing and Communications Director, managing its art exhibitions, book clubs, documentary films, film screenings, LiterARTure series, panel discussions and writing workshops. Her role as Traces associate producer draws on her talent as an exceptional portraiture artist and educational background in film and the digital arts.
Brian Oakley
Animator
Brian Oakley is a Jacksonville based animator, illustrator, and graphic designer. He received his BFA and MA from Savannah College of Art and Design in the field of animation. Brian's love for character and storytelling has led him to work on illustrating several children's books including Miracle of Moe, Stella and Moe's Big Adventure, and Aurora and the Lost Chip. Along with his experience as a children's book illustrator, he has also done numerous illustration and animation projects for production companies in and outside of Florida. Thomas Doughty
Composer
Thomas Doughty is a professor of Digital Media at Florida State College at Jacksonville. In addition to a degree in Anthropology, he holds a master’s degree in Digital Media Studies from the Digital Worlds Institute at the University of Florida. He has created visual projections and sound design for multiple on-stage productions and dance performances. As a composer Thomas combines field recordings, synthesis, and sound design to create sonic structures and ambient landscapes. For the Traces score, the Moog Subharmonican
was the primary instrument.
Eric Flagg | Associate Producer
Eric Flagg is a co-founder of Jellyfish Smack Productions and is the Coordinator of the Digital Media Technology programs at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. Eric holds degrees in environmental science and documentary film production and produces a wide range of short media on science, history and environmental topics. A native of Florida, Eric especially likes exploring the rich and sometimes chaotic history, both natural and human, of his home state.
Sabrina Habib | Associate Producer
Dr. Sabrina Habib is a Brazilian artist and creativity scholar. She is a professor of Visual Communications at the University of South Carolina, her students have won numerous awards for their video work. Her own award-winning film work has been screened extensively in national and international film festivals.
Jeff Williams | Associate Producer
Jeff Williams is an advertising and digital media professor at the University of South Carolina, where he merges business and creativity. His films have won many awards at film festivals nationally and internationally. He currently co-owns a small advertising agency that focuses on content marketing and SEO for brands across the digital ecosystem.
